Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before renting jewellery or outfits from STRI Abharana (“STRI”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By placing an enquiry or completing a rental booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking & Payments
- Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the rental charges and a refundable security deposit.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required at the time of pickup or delivery.
- All prices and deposits are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated.
2. Pickup, Delivery & Returns
- Pickup is available from our studio in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru. Doorstep delivery within Bengaluru is available at an additional charge.
- Out-of-station customers may opt for our courier service. Courier and insurance charges are borne by the customer.
- The jewellery must be returned in its original packaging on the agreed return date. Late returns are subject to additional rental charges per day.
3. Damage, Loss & Theft
- The customer is responsible for the safety of the rented items from the time of pickup until they are returned to STRI and verified by our team.
- In case of damage, loss, theft or significant wear, STRI reserves the right to deduct the cost of repair or replacement from the security deposit, or invoice any additional amount required.
4. Deposit Refunds
Security deposits are refunded after the rented items have been returned, inspected and approved by our team. Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days via the original payment method.
5. Cancellations & Reschedules
- Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event date are eligible for a partial refund of rental charges, subject to our discretion.
- Last-minute cancellations may not be refundable. Reschedules are subject to availability.
6. Use of Products
- Rented items are intended for personal occasions such as weddings, photoshoots and cultural events only.
- Sub-letting, resale, or commercial use beyond the agreed scope is not permitted without prior written consent.
- Please avoid contact with water, perfumes, oils and chemicals as these can permanently damage the pieces.
7. Intellectual Property
All photographs, designs and content on this website are the property of STRI Abharana and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
STRI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising out of the use of our products or services. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total rental amount paid by the customer for the relevant booking.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
